The trailing of a plough and malicious ploughing are mentioned, and the lines of the final song are quoted. The characters are listed as; Tom Fool, Recruiting Sergeant, Ribboner/Recruit, Threshing Blade, Hopper Joe, the Ploughman, Doctor, Young Lady, Dame Jane and Beelzebub.
